This designer is ready willing and able to make it happen.
The staff at this company has been a pleasure to work with on designing the plans for our new home. Someone has been available to answer any and all questions that my wife and I have had, and this company made several relevant suggestions to us to help us through this process. My wife and I are contracting our house ourselves and this designer has been there to help direct us on each phase. We did make several modifications to the original plan we selected, and the company was ready willing and able to make it happen. We would recommend this designer without reservation.
The best thing about my house is that people drive by all the time and they yell out to me, "I love your house!"
I purchased some land in North Carolina in 1996 and had planned to build a house with plans I had gotten from the internet. My plans to build this house did not happen, as the seller of the land did not fulfill the agreement. I carried those house plans with me for years and when I decided to retire in 2010. I started researching the internet again in 2009 and found that my plan no longer existed. Then I found the perfect plan. I loved the design, especially the big windows in the front of the house. Inside the house I loved the split floor plan and the open feel of the living room with the 12 foot ceilings. The huge kitchen was also a plus for me as I love to entertain! This house has all the bedrooms on the first level which is great for someone my age. This house has changed my life a lot as I have a spacious yard which I have been busy fixing up. My plans is to use my house to bring my extended family closer by having plenty of space to have family functions. I spent more than 40 years out of the state and wanted to get closer to home in order to spend my final years getting to know my extended family better. The best thing about my house is that people drive by all the time and they yell out to me, "I love your house!" and I yell back, "so do I." I am so proud that I had this house built and that you provided such a beautiful plan that will be in style for years to come...
It was so close to what I would have designed myself.
I began looking for house plans in the fall of 2006. My husband and I had just sold our home to move in and take care of my recently widowed Mother. Our youngest son was in college and also still living at home. We sold many of our things and put the rest in storage. We were living in my childhood home. We all knew we needed a layout to accommodate our new family dynamic. We were fortunate that my late father had purchased some land years before and the area was perfect for a new home. We are in a restricted, large acre lot with extra wooded acreage behind the home site. My husband and I were looking for a home that would provide the needed space for my mother, the space for a college student, as well as the place we would enjoy retiring to. I began searching home plans on the Internet. I found many plans but always came back to one of the first plans we found. I was looking for a split design, a large open living space and a bonus room. We found a perfect plan. It reminded me of a traditional home with a slight French style. It was so close to what I would have designed myself. The two bedrooms on one end serve as my mother’s quarters. We did increase the size of her rooms by extending the length of the house by one foot. One room used for a sitting room and the other for her bedroom with a bath in between. This provides her with her own space without making her feel isolated. The large window with the transom on the front gives her a great deal of light and she does not feel she is sitting in a bedroom all day. In the far away future it will serve as two guest rooms and a private bath. The openness of the living room, kitchen, breakfast nook and dining room is perfect for our extended families. Now that my mother is living with me, we are usually the home where many of the family gatherings take place. We can be in the adjoining rooms but all feel we are together. We changed the three large windows in the living room to a sliding glass door opening out to the porch. We also had the porch screened in and an additional cement patio poured out from the house. This gives even more gathering and entertaining space. The master bedroom and bath are perfect for us. Being on the opposite end of the house ensures privacy and the spaciousness gives us the option of a sitting and TV area in our room. We did rearrange the master bath to accommodate a little larger shower and a larger tub but we still have the water closet and double sinks, which we love. The laundry room is huge and we opted to leave out the half bath and put a built in office space where the bath and closet were on the plan. This opens the space even more. One reason we felt comfortable giving up the half bath is because we opted for the full bath in the bonus room over the garage. We finished this room and it was a perfect hideaway and bedroom for our college-aged son. He recently purchased his own home and now our grandchildren are thrilled with our bonus playroom and their own bath. We opted for a slab foundation and vinyl siding. We are very happy with this home. We moved in our home in July of 2007. We look forward to many more years in this wonderful home!
I wish with everything in me that there wasn't a reason for this new house...
Before anything else, you should know that I wish with everything in me that there wasn't a reason for this new house. Four and a half years ago my wife and I were leading an ideal life. We were just starting to relax in our retirement and taking great joy from watching our four son's families grow. But a head-on collision changed everything. It was one of my oldest sons, one of my twins. For a while we didn't believe he'd survive. And in a way, my Chris, my son I'd loved for 43 years, didn't. Chris is 48 now. He's paralyzed on his left side and suffers from extensive brain damage. He requires total care, which his Mother and I give round the clock. His medical condition is the reason for our new house. Our old home place was very secluded; which at one time we loved. But since Chris has frequent seizures, we need an ambulance to be able to find us fast. Also, we need to be closer to his doctors and physical therapist whom he sees three times a week. The most imperative need for building, though, is that everything must be handicap accessible. I'm 70 and my wife, Betty, is 68 years old. So the idea of not having to fight his chair through doorways or squeeze down halls is quite appealing. And we're looking forward to the handicap bathroom like kids look forward to Christmas! I LOVE the large rooms in this home design and the layout is absolutely perfect for our needs with no wasted space... While I continue to pray my child will be made whole again and we wouldn't NEED this new house; it will be a great blessing and we are eager for the relief it will bring to our lives. This is a great house for our family's needs and we would definately recommend this designer's home designs to anyone...
This home will make a tremendous difference in our family's lives, and we owe it all to this designer...
I am 68 and my husband is 70 years old, and we have a 48 year old son who was involved in a near fatal car accident four and a half years ago. He is now completely wheelchair dependent, has a wife with two kids, and now lives with us. We take care of him morning to night, and many of the day-to-day tasks are quite time consuming and strenuous, especially for people of our age. Our previous home did not work well with our son's wheelchair, and after praying for some time, we found a house plan that had been built here locally. We immediately fell in love with this beautiful plan and are now in the process of building it with full wheelchair-accessibility, and cannot wait to get moved in... This home will make a tremendous difference in our family's lives, and we owe it all to this designer...

We still feel the excitement every time we unlock the door...
We purchased a beautiful country lot on May 8th 2009, and our home was completed February 8th, 2010. As we watched the house being built I kept telling my husband to ""pinch me"" this has to be a dream. We named our home CASA BELLA meaning house beautiful. We moved in February 19th, 2010, and we still feel the excitement every time we unlock the door... We would definately recommend this designer to anyone...
We constantly receive compliments about how beautiful the home is...
I went online and found your house plans and loved them! We were looking to build something a little smaller, than the house we previously had, as we were moving from the gulf coast up to north Mississippi. When I found this plan, it was perfect for us. We constantly receive compliments about how beautiful the home is and how the floorplan is so well laid-out and utilizes every square inch of space. I really enjoyed building the home, and would recommend this designer, wholeheartedly, to anyone looking for a beautiful, well-designed, and affordable home design...
Thanks for helping us find and build our dream home!!
We have lived in our current two bedroom, one bath, 988 square foot home for 12 years. Since we moved in, we've subsequently had 2 children. Making it a little cramped to say the least. So we started looking at other homes. Not much caught our eye in our small town, so we looked into a quality modular home, but they only have so many options available. That's when we came across your site and my wife fell in love witha certain plan. We started in May of 2009 with 1.17 acres on the edge of town, and I went about excavating some trees and brush from the property with the help of some friends and a bulldozer. Once we decided where to place the home on the lot, we started digging for the basement. We did all of the digging and tile drainage ourselves, and basically whatever else we could do for ourselves to save money. We then hired a contractor to pour the footers and basement for us. Once that was completed, we installed our steel support beams and posts. And finally we hired a contractor to construct the home, as per the blueprints supplied to us from the designer. The contractor has done an excellent job, and we have been able to do alot of the inside work ourselves to save money, like insulate, hang drywall, install doors, etc. The house is shaping up nicely, and we are at the "mudding of the drywall" stage now and hope to complete the home in the next month. Our kids are so excited to have their own room. We will have 3200 square ft of living space. We won't know what to do with ourselves. Thanks guys for helping us find and build our dream home!!
We just looked at each other and knew that this was the plan…
We were newlyweds living in a mobile home in a small town rural area when we felt a desire for a larger, more permanent home. We were growing concerned that our mobile home would eventually require too much upkeep and through the wisdom of our parents, felt that a site-built home would be a wiser investment. However, at our fairly young age, we were not sure how much of a home we could afford. At first we began browsing for house plans for the future. We found ourselves wanting to change every plan we came across to fit our lives. We looked through countless books and almost gave up. We happened upon looking online and found our plan immediately. We just looked at each other and knew that this was the plan. It had everything we wanted to add to the other plans. With the help of online calculators, we found that by ordering our plan ourselves and subcontracting, we could afford a home much more easily than by hiring a general contractor. Not only that, but we could build a larger, more customized home this way. Everything came into place. We suddenly received an offer on our mobile home and with today's housing market, felt it was time to act. We found the perfect home site, began the mortgage process and everything moved very quickly from that point on. We did have to meet with contractors several times a week, but felt that by being involved in the process, our house was going to be very special and exactly what we wanted. We finished our home in record time and feel unbelievably blessed. Our home is much more than we ever expected we could have. All of our contractors, inspectors, and even the appraiser fell absolutely in love with the layout of our home and wanted to know where we found our plan. Our friends and family also greatly approved and thought our home was much more costly than it actually was. We have now been in our new home for about six months, so we are still arranging some things to our taste, but every day we feel continually grateful for the home we have. We absolutely enjoy it. Our home has room for any changes that might take place in our family and our lives.
Thank you for making our home building experience the very best it could ever be!
Seven months ago, I purchased these plans for my dream home online. We were ready to move from the city and build something for our active family. We lived in a suburban track home for 13 years before deciding to build in the country. After several months of pouring over floor plans, I was able to narrow it down to just this one. We bought an acre of land in the country and proceeded to build on our lot. I told everyone that I wanted to enjoy the experience of building our home, and I truly did. I had so much fun picking everything from the floor plan to fixtures, granite and ceiling fans. Some of my favorite features of this plan are that there is absolutely no wasted space. I also love my closets, pantry and porches. I also like the breakfast bar. It is definitely my dream home. The house plan that I chose is a one-story house, four bedrooms, 3-1/2 baths with a game room over the garage. We chose to build it with brick and a touch of Austin limestone. The inside is lovely in shades of green, tan and brown. Everyone who visits says they feel right at home the second they enter. We had our first family get-together on Easter weekend, and I can't tell you how wonderful it was having a home like this to share with our family and friends. After dining inside, we all moved into the yard and enjoyed watching the little ones hunt Easter eggs in the backyard. Thank you for making our home building experience the very best it could ever be!
